1. Information We Collect

To provide accurate online readings and a smoother interactive experience, we may collect the following information:

• Registration and account information, such as your email address and third-party login credentials.
• Reading content: the questions you enter, the cards you draw or the hexagram you cast, your conversations with Geumeum, and, for BaZi, the birth details you enter and whose chart you say it is.
• Device and browsing data, such as browser type, IP address, language preference, and local session cache used to preserve reading state.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information only to provide and improve the reading service, including:

• Providing, maintaining, and improving AI tarot readings and language-model generated reports.
• Processing payments and credit purchases through our third-party payment providers, and keeping your credit balance and any existing membership up to date. We do not store your full card details.
• Detecting and preventing fraud and keeping the system secure and compliant.
• Sending important service updates, and promotional emails only if you have agreed to receive them.

3. Protection and Storage

We use common security technologies and encrypted connections to protect your data; your account and reading records are stored on cloud servers. To provide the Service, we rely on third-party service providers that process some data on our behalf; they may use it only on our instructions and only to provide the Service, and they may process it outside your country or region. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your reading content for advertising.

Geumeum’s memory: so that what Geumeum tells you stays consistent, we keep the following and use it only in your own readings:

• Summaries of past readings (on by default): who each conversation was about, the question, the key cards, Geumeum’s conclusion at the time, any timing and advice she gave, and points you added during the conversation. When answering, Geumeum only looks at a few conversations about the same person. You can turn off “Refer to my past readings” in Settings.
• The people you ask about: what you call them and how you know them; a BaZi chart is saved under the person you choose. Birth details are not copied into memory.
• Long-term memory (kept only if you turn it on): the people and situations you mention. You can turn it off or clear it in Settings at any time; turning it off withdraws your consent and deletes what was saved.
• Deletion: when you delete a conversation in your history, its summary and any memory that came only from it stop being used immediately and are deleted from our database within 30 days; copies in system backups expire within a further 30 days. Deleting a BaZi chart deletes the memory derived from it; closing your account deletes all memory.
• Conversations that turn to crisis support are never added to memory, and memory is never used for advertising.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

To improve loading speed and preserve in-progress sessions, we use sessionStorage and localStorage to cache card-draw steps and reading text on individual pages. You can clear this cache in your browser settings, but unsaved reading records may be lost.

We also store a cookie with a random identifier for your browser. It contains no name or email address. We use it to keep your guest readings linked to you after you sign up, and to prevent abuse, for example by limiting how many accounts on one device can receive the sign-up credits.

5. Your Rights

You can log in at any time to view, change or delete your reading records and profile, turn memory off in Settings, or delete individual conversations in your history. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, you also have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability, and you can withdraw your consent to long-term memory at any time. To exercise these rights, close your account or get a copy of your data, email support@tarotoper.com and we will act on your request within 5 business days after verifying your identity.

6. Policy Updates

We may revise this policy as the service or applicable laws change. Material changes will be announced prominently on the platform or sent to your registered email address.
